DOR(R)IS getting us an embarrassing 1.8k allocation at Loftus Road that sold-out in about two days weeks and weeks before the game...

November 1968, a 4-3 win. Winning 3-1 at half-time,goals from Moore,Peters,Hurst (Bridges for QPR) Two goals from QPR's Leach making it 3-3 before a certain Harry Redknapp scored the winner.

The away cup game.

I reckon that must've been one of the largest away followings at an English game, especially in the areas of the ground, that were supposed to be for the home fans?

I remember the players coming back out onto the pitch, after it'd been cleared of fans, and a couple of them were double taking, at the level of support, with Bubbles being sang from three sides of the ground. It was brilliant, made funny as well, by the fact that there were German police there at the game, seeing how their English counterparts did things....ag!

obviously lost...

Loftus road. Dicksy at left back and I'm sure he up against Trevor Sinclair. Anyway, they had a bit of a tussle and Julian barged him off the ball. Sincs came charging back in at him only for Dicks to take a step back and Sincs to go flying off the pitch.

Also remember watching Billic drag one of their players to the ground for no reason before a set piece, very lucky it wasn't spotted by the ref.

Away at Loftus Road in the cup where I was royally crushed and nearly pooed my pants. If there was fencing at the ground I don't think I'd be here now.

Probably already mentioned but the 2-2 draw (I think) in 1984.... one of Sir Trev's last games and one of his best!!

one and only time i went into the home end. every one at school did it as the year before west ham had taken the shed, so we practised at loftus road. was a bit nervous hiding my scarf in my jacket but started to recognise a few faces around and as soon as the team came out it was west ham on every side, the ol bill couldnt nick all of us.

First game I ever attended West Ham v QPR in 1977 was completely in awe of these huge cockney blokes shouting singing and swearing in the West Stand.... could barely see but was utterly fantastic!

I remember the away 0-1 win in 85. Frankie Mac scored right in front of us. We were being crushed in the away end before the game as they crammed is in ahlf teh terrace. Eventually they opened the otehr half up. Not a pleasant experience.

Also the 0-0 home draw in 78 I think in the cup. Then getting smashed 6-1 in the replay. Thankfully I didn't go to that

Re: Your memories of West Ham UNITED Vs Queens Park Rangers...
been Loftus Road twice..........

first time MICHAEL HUGHES made his debut. think we either lost 2-1 or drew 1-1.

second time we got pumped 3-0 but they still got relegated. DANI went awol and H went spaz about it in the press conference.

i hate the upper tier in that away end, feel like you will fall to your death if we ever score.
